Testimonials

There are 40 of us on the programme and we will get to meet up at occasional training events. It’s really nice to be able to share our worries and concerns…and we often have the same worries.

Tayah Preece, Trainee Production Manager at Manchester International Festival in association with HOME, Royal Exchange Theatre and RNCM

I have been sitting in organisational meetings with the Kettle’s Yard and Circuit teams while they plan the Unlock Cambridge festival. Seeing the inner workings of organising an arts festival has been interesting and I have at times been able to contribute due to my own experience in event organising. I helped to promote the festival at the Anglia Ruskin Freshers Fair and gave my technical support on the day too.

Kyle Percy, Curatorial Research Assistant at Kettle’s Yard

Taking part in the programme has given me the opportunity to develop my skills and add to my CV, as well as to experience what it’s like to work in an arts organisation. I believe the internship will give me the chance to really begin my career in the arts industry, increasing my confidence and helping me to stand out when applying to positions in future.

Verity Casey, Development Assistant at Sadler’s Wells
