Introduction
We have been supporting new playwrights at the Royal Court for eleven years now, and have augmented our support for theatre with Jerwood Directors at the Young Vic and Jerwood Young Designers at The Gate. We further developed our interest in theatre with another major project in 2004: Young Producers' Bursaries at Battersea Arts Centre.
We occasionally support one-off small grants to theatre projects but this is dependent on our budget and overall commitments in other areas.
