Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries Director Kate Danielson nominated for a CCSkills Award

08 February 2017

We are delighted that Kate Danielson has been shortlisted for Creative and Cultural Skills' Creative Choices Award, for her work with Jerwood Charitable Foundation on the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries.

The Awards are judged by leading employers in the creative industries and the winners will be announced on Wednesday 1 March.

The Creative Bursaries programme is a talent development initiative creating new, paid, entry-level roles in the arts for recent graduates at leading arts organisations across the UK. The programme addresses the socio-economic barriers that skilled graduates entering the workplace face and is open to graduates from low-income backgrounds who were in receipt of a full maintenance grant throughout university. The second edition, the Weston Jerwood Creative Bursaries Programme, was designed and managed by Jerwood Charitable Foundation with the support of Garfield Weston Foundation, Andrew Lloyd Webber Foundation and J Paul Getty Jr Charitable Trust. It ran from June 2015 to October 2016.
