Introduction
The Jerwood Charitable Foundation was established by the Jerwood Foundation in 1999. In 1999 the Jerwood Charitable Foundation took over the administration of a number of initiatives of the Jerwood Foundation, including the Jerwood Painting Prize, Jerwood Applied Arts Prize and Jerwood Choreography Award. In 2005 the Jerwood Foundation completed a capital endowment to the Jerwood Charitable Foundation making it totally independent.
The Jerwood Foundation continues to develop projects and make grants within the terms of its Funding Guidelines, continuing the vision of its founding Chairman, Alan Grieve.
